Daarom hebben we enkele jaren geleden ons eigen logopedie programma opgezet in samenwerking met Smile Train. Momenteel hebben we acht lokale logopedisten in dienst die in heel Guatemala logopedie verzorgen, en er zijn drie anderen in opleiding. Onze acht logopedisten bieden maandelijks logopedie aan meer dan 350 kinderen, waarbij de meeste kinderen minstens 2 keer per maand logopedie krijgen. Vanaf 2025 zullen we 11 logopedisten in dienst hebben en minstens 425 kinderen per maand logopedie kunnen geven. Als de enige organisatie in Guatemala die gespecialiseerd is in logopedie voor schisis, verwelkomen we ook veel kinderen die elders zijn geopereerd. <span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Na een paar jaar logopedie krijgen kinderen, die goed kunnen praten, allemaal een diploma.
