Psychological guidance
Emotional health and well-being are paramount to leading a productive and meaningful life in our society. An important part of our aftercare is therefore offering psychological support to both the children and parents.
We often see that children are frequently bullied and experience social isolation, making it difficult for them to connect with others. Many mothers also face blame from their own partners and families for their child being born with cleft lip and palate. Therefore, we collaborate with a local psychologist who addresses these issues and provides guidance where needed.
Our psychologist Pini holds multiple roles within the foundation, one of which is providing psychological care. Pini conducts an average of 150 sessions per year.
