Who are we?
Tess Unlimited is a Dutch non-profit organization that operates in the Republic of Guatemala treating patients with cleft lip and palate. Since 2008, founder Tessa de Goede de Ordoñez has helped over thousands of Guatemalan children suffering from cleft lip and or palate; a birth defect that occurs when a baby’s lip or palate does not close properly during the pregnancy.
Guatemala is a third world country. Therefore the available healthcare is very limited as cleft lips and palates are not being treated in public hospitals. This means that, without the help of Tess Unlimited, children born with cleft lip and/or palate would not be able to get their surgery. Tess Unlimited commits itself to helping these children, providing them with the opportunity to lead a happy and meaningful life.
Projects
Cleft lip and palate has a number of specific characteristics, causes and consequences. Tess Unlimited has a a different 'project' for each phase. In this way we can provide efficient and holistic solutions and create the possibility to let everyone enter at any desired stage. We would like to explain the different phases below.

How can you help?
To be able to offer children in Guatemala a better future, we depend on donations. As a foundation we undertake various activities to raise funding for the realizations of our mission, but this is far from enough to be able to help all children. Would you like to contribute?
