Who are we?
Stichting Tess Unlimited is een Nederlandse stichting gevestigd in Guatemala, opgericht in 2008 door Tessa de Goede. De stichting ondersteunt kinderen die geboren zijn met schisis, een aangeboren afwijking waarbij de lip en vaak ook het gehemelte niet volledig gesloten zijn, bekend als ‘hazenlip’ en/of ‘open gehemelte’ in Nederland.
Guatemala, as a developing country, offers limited healthcare, meaning cleft lip and palate are not treated in public hospitals. This means that children with cleft conditions would have to live with them their entire lives. Tess Unlimited is committed to helping these children in Guatemala, giving them the chance for a happy and meaningful life.
Projects
Kinderen die met een schisis worden geboren, ondergaan niet alleen meerdere operaties, maar vereisen ook voor en nazorg. Deze holistische aanpak garandeert dat deze kinderen de volledige zorg krijgen die ze nodig hebben. We zijn verheugd het enige complete schisisteam in heel Guatemala te zijn. Onze zorg omvat:

How can you help?
To provide the children in Guatemala with a future, we are entirely dependent on donations. As a foundation, we undertake various initiatives to raise funds for our mission. Despite these efforts, it is not sufficient to support all the children. If you are willing to contribute, please do not hesitate to make a donation. Perhaps you might even consider organizing your own fundraising campaign, joining our Club of 100, or making a monthly donation?
